Berlin based company shyftplan receives research grant to develop AI for shift scheduling
Berlin, 21.06.2022
shyftplan, the leading shift scheduling platform for large industry enterprises and rapidly scaling companies, announced today that it has been awarded a research grant by the German Federal Ministry of Education & Research. The research project will enable the implementation of an AI-based shift planning solution. The AI supported planning process will help to make even the largest and most complex shift schedules faster and easier to plan for employees.
About the research allowance
The goal of the research allowance, which is the responsibility of the Federal Ministry of Education & Research, is to strengthen Germany as an investment location and to stimulate the research activities of small and medium-sized enterprises in particular.
The law provides tax benefits for research expenditures by companies subject to taxation in Germany - regardless of size, legal form and industry - and is intended to provide incentives to invest in research and development (R&D).
